Simple troubleshooting

Temperature display lamp blinking

Cause:

For widow type or split type air conditioner, at its first power transmission, or retransmission after a power failure, the temperature display lamp will blink.

Trouble shooting method:

1. Perform on/off action once with remote controller, then temperature display lamp blinking will be dispelled.

2. Confirm with Taipower whether there is power cut, if no then should check whether there are loose off, bad contact in power lines that lead to temporary power failure.

Temperature display lamp dead.

Cause: No power.

Trouble shooting method: inspect power switch or plug.

Cause: Controller failure.

Trouble shooting method: Please contact dealer or use online service call.

Power jump off when in operation

Cause:

Outdoor side heat dissipation bad, compressor operation current too high, lead to power switch jump off.

Trouble shooting method:

1. Keep good ventilation for outdoor side.

2. Inspect condenser, if there is dirty unclean, please maintain cleaning, if assistance required, please contact dealer.

Cause: Power switch (NFB) were damaged or capacity ≦ rated operation current.

Trouble shooting method: Please contact certified electrician to replace the power switch (NFB).

Cause:Other causes

Trouble shooting method: Please contact dealer or use online service call.

Not cooling comparatively

Cause: Air filter blocked by unclean.

Trouble shooting method: Clean the air filter.

Cause: Leakage of refrigerant.

Trouble shooting method: Please contact dealer or use online service call.

Remote controller not operatable

Cause: Battery out of power.

Trouble shooting method: Change batteries.

Cause: Remote controller damaged.

Trouble shooting method: Please contact dealer or use online service call.

(*When it is urgent, the emergency switch can be used for switching on or off the air conditioner)

Cause: Remote controller malfunction.

Trouble shooting method: Please contact dealer or use online service call.

Soon after new installation, air conditioner gradually becomes not cooling comparatively.

Cause: Refrigerant leakage.

Trouble shooting method: Please contact original installed dealer.

Blowing rate becomes smaller.

Cause: Air filter blocked by unclean.

Trouble shooting method: Clean the air filter.

Cause: The blower motor rotation speed abnormal.

Trouble shooting method: Please contact dealer or use online service call.

Cause: Equipment body unclean.

Trouble shooting method: Check the equipment body if there were unclean, please maintain cleaning. If assistance required, please contact dealer.
